Prospective adoptive families can meet the pooches at the Tualatin Petsmart on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (except for special events, which are noted on our website).
We encourage potential adopters to walk and spend time with a dog in which they are interested. If there are others dogs that are already part of the family, they should be brought to Petsmart for a “meet and greet”.
An Oregon Dog Rescue volunteer will be on hand to answer questions and discuss with potential adopters if the home is a good match for the dog and family. If so, a contract is signed and the adoption fee is paid.
Adopters are encouraged to contact Oregon Dog Rescue with any questions in order to make the transition as smooth as possible and the adoption successful.
